The New Saturday

My dad is the king of thrift and has been that way since before I was born. He is the original green man without even knowing it. The new Saturday routine is to take all of the cans he used/found to the recycling center where they pay you cash, followed by the farmers market next door.
We were greeted at the recycling plant with popcorn and Tootsie Rolls. Not only did they give us money, they gave us food. It doesn't get much better.
