This was what was left of my cake I made for book club last night. It came from a Nigella Lawson recipe from her book Feast that my boyfriend got me for Christmas. It was amaaaaaazing. I recommend making this one because it only takes about 10 or 15 minutes to make and then you just stick it in the oven for an hour. Magic.
Our next book is Shutter Island and we’re going to see the movie together after we read it. Oh Leo… For my book (which is months and months away), I want to read something like Lewis Carrol’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland or something like it and have a tea party for the get together. I thought that would be fun and more interesting that the usual get together. Maybe I’ll make everyone wear a big hat.
I definitely want to do something like this. The Flickr it came from has some of the most amazing photos. Loves it.
